Most people think that exercising involves a strenuous workout, however this is not true. Walking, biking, swimming, skiing, and golf are just some of the ways we can exercise and enjoy it!
Getting fit is all about adopting a healthy lifestyle. Some things may be harder to change than others, but everyone can improve their level of fitness. Comedian and television host, Ellen DeGeneres, got it right when she said: “I really don’t think I need buns of steel. I’d be happy with buns of cinnamon.”

Your webmaster is hardly a gym rat. I came to exercise rather late in life as part of a pulmonary rehab program for COPD. I had never been on a treadmill before or dreamed that I would be lifting weights and using Cybex
machines. But I found that exercise, more than anything else, had a positive impact on my health. I now exercise at least an hour a day — everyday with very few exceptions. Some of my workout time is spent at the local YMCA to take advantage of the fancy professional grade equipment. But I rely on the equipment in my home to get me started each day.
I have gradually added to home exercise equipment so I can enjoy the convenience of being able to exercise every day regardless of the weather outside. I continue to explore all kinds of equipment, videos, and books.
I’m not an expert but I know where to find expert advice. I will share what I’ve learned with you, and I hope you will share what you have learned with me.
