While having the right exercise gear is important, it’s just as important to choose exercise clothes that will keep you comfortable during your workout. Clothes that fit right and keep you from getting too hot or cold let you concentrate fully on exercising. Sure, you can do most routines in an ordinary t-shirt and shorts, but there are better options out there.
Cardio workouts
Since most cardio workouts require quick, sweeping movement, you’ll want to wear clothing that will allow plenty of freedom of movement yet not be so loose that you get tangled up in it. A relaxed fit will let you move comfortably, yet not stick to your skin once to start to sweat. Try to choose a fabric that moves and stretches with you, such as a spandex/cotton blend.
